There are 2 more informational sessions on the Medicaid Community-Based Palliative Care Launch. Please see the message below from Goals of Care Coalition on the additional training sessions.
In preparation for the Medicaid Community-Based Palliative Care launch on April 1, 2026, DMAHS will offer a series of three training sessions. Details for the second and thirdmeetings are outlined below. The recording from the first training session is also included. Please feel free to share this information with your member organizations, networks, and professional contacts.
DMAHS invites you to participate in the training series to prepare for the launch of New Jersey’s CBPC Medicaid benefit in 2026. The second training session will take place onTuesday, January 27th from 11 am - 12 pm.
Please click the link CBPC Provider Training 2 to register for the training and for more information on the CBPC benefit and training series. This training will focus on:
- NJMMIS enrollment – process to enroll your entity under the CBPC specialty code
- MCO credentialing forms – overview of the MCO credentialing forms and expected timelines
- Application documentation – guidelines on documents to submit as part of enrollment and credentialing
The third training session will take place onThursday, February 26th from 2 pm - 3 pm. Please click the link CBPC Provider Training 3 to register for this training session which will cover:
- Interaction between the provider and MCO Care Manager, along with general care coordination expectations
- Billing and claims submission for assessments and CBPC PMPM bundle
- Provider tools (eligibility screening, medical assessment, care plan, and discharge tools) and service authorization processes
