- Disenfranchised Grief Nurse Study; TAKE SURVEY
Posted over 2 years ago by Katie DeMarco in Research
Hi all! Happy New Year! I hope you are all well and enjoyed some time with your family and friends.
My palliative friend Darrell is conducting research on disenfranchised grief in nursing; I am hopeful you will support him and his study by taking an anonymous survey. It will take about 10 minutes of your time. You can find the link here: https://forms.gle/8wM2R7H9YdKtNpGG8
Please see below for Darrell's email and contact information. Be well. - Katie DeMarco :)
Hello Palliative Care Colleagues,
After almost two years of thought and development, our research study on Disenfranchised Grief in Nursing is finally here. The first arm of the study will include only APPs practicing in Palliative Care friendly environments (palliative care, hospice, LTC, oncology). My goal is to assess if Disenfranchised Grief impacts those of us working directly or indirectly in palliative care more than APPs in other areas.
In the next several iterations of the study, we will be looking at RNs and then RNs compared to APPs. I am working with a medical student and will also be assessing Disenfranchised Grief in physicians. PLEASE feel free to forward this email to any APP practicing in palliative care or hospice, or in an environment with a heavy emphasis in palliative care.
You can find the link here: https://forms.gle/8wM2R7H9YdKtNpGG8. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete; responses are anonymous.
