Dear friends and fellow members,

As 2020 draws to a close, so to does my term as President for the NJ PC APNC. It is with very great pleasure that I formally welocme Yusimi Sobrino-Bonilla to the role of President for the 201/22 term. I know with absolute certainty that Yusimi will continue to provide  wonderful leadership, opportunity, and enthusiasm to our consortium. I am excited to see what the future holds as our group coninues to flourish.

When I reflect on my term I  feel tremendous pride in what we have accomplished. We have seen our membership grow and have enjoyed increased membership engagement. We have enhanced our visibility and presence across NJ through a variety of platforms and our financial situation is robust. We have served as role models and mentors and provided first-rate educational programs to our colleagues. Most important of all, we have been successful in our mission to advance the profession and quality practice of palliative care across the State of New Jersey. In this most challenging of years, we have been there for each other with collegiality and unwavering support above all.  We have a great deal to celebrate and be proud of.

My most sincere thanks to a terrific Board who have allowed me to accompany them on this journey. With the support of such a wonderful group of women, serving as President has been an honor, a privilege and a truly joyful experience. Thank you all.
