This is the second annual collaborative conference hosted by the NJPCAPNC and the Upstate NJ Chapter of ONS, highlighting the latest trends in oncology care. The keynote address will be delivered by Varsha Singh, DNP, ANP-C, SCRN, NEA-BC, FAHA, FAANP, NJ State Liaison for AANP, who will speak on the role of AI in cancer prognostication. Additional sessions will explore cannabis in cancer treatment and symptom management, holistic approaches to symptom care, nutrition in cancer, and current advances in radiation therapy. The program will also feature a bioethics panel presenting real-world case studies in cancer care.

Over 15 years of experience as a Stroke Subject Matter Expert ,I am happy to guide and support many stroke coordinators across the country. As a Neurosciences Nurse Practitioner and Stroke Program Manager at St. Joseph's Health, I have over 6 years of experience in clinical management and quality improvement for both Primary and Comprehensive Stroke Centers. I am responsible for ensuring compliance with CSC accreditation standards and overseeing more than 20 quality metrics. I also guide more than 6 clinical departments on patient management and leverage AI for LVO alert. In addition to my role at St. Joseph's Health, I am an advisor for the NJ DOH Stroke Care Advisory Panel, SATHI(South Asian Total Health Initiatives) and an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a State Liaison for New Jersey. I advocate for nurse practitioners' rights and interests, share AANP platform to promote professional development and networking, and share information about AANP events and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in the field. I am passionate about advancing the field of nursing and improving patient outcomes through education, advocacy, and innovation. As a nursing professional of South Asian origin, its my mission to mentor all the nurses of Indian origin and support them towards their professional goals.
